you got it in the eye moment stuff really well but there was nothing really there to lift it to a higher score. The concept was very basic and did not have a major subject manner in mind to lift it up. The concert was cars driving after the very beginning (which was the highlight, in which you really got into the mind of the racer) why can I even put racing as a major concept in this because there was not enough of a competition element and here for that to be Inc into the major concept. (I guess the correct words would be the concept is driving in a race) still welcome back to this contest. 3

this is a nice video, this is actually when I was in school so you gave me some nostalgia. The problem is lack with many movies there was a lack of footage most likely so some of the message was lost. it would've been obviously a better thing if it was cut into many nice scenes of people helping but the stuff with the teacher at the end was very heartwarming. it was a very heartwarming video.

amazing this many years later. losses always painful and seeing the horror of people dying is more. you did a good job showing the pain of the 'gone' (summarizing all of the things that slip away) and the hope of the soul for remembering. because in the end all we have left is to remember sometimes and your video shows that portion perfectly.

(https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dIeVRu_W_ik) this was a weird series to say the least and strangely somehow got the educational stamp for 'social interaction' which started to have some people questioning the FCC's (The place that approves what is showing on American TV) choices. (and that's why I was curious enough to watch it , even though it was after my time, I was just curious to see where all of the fuss was about) But it lasted for 8 season and did define a generation because it was on just for so long. because you use neon colours for days it ended up looking more like this then Sigma boy. I mean I know this was not intentional because even though I made it to Poland (I doublechecked before the post) I have doubts it made it to Russia (probably for the best) but it does have this 90s flavour.
I did go a little to strong with some of my comments. if these are your guinea pigs, I hope they have a nice life and I am happy you treat your guinea pigs with care and care about their well-being. because in the end of the day guinea pigs should have a nice life not dictated by anyone's video preferences. I only said things this way because I thought you were taking videos from the internet or using techniques. thanks for the lyrics, I guess it really did mean cucumbers.

yes I actually did find the zoom in fade thing you did pretty cool and there was also not a heavy credit focus in the majority of batch of videos. I know it's actually pretty difficult to do that. one time trying and ending up with half a minute credits that have to be cut in the end. (to be fair it was my second year but I learn my lesson no one wants half a minute credit) do you also use Movavi.

Если быть предельно честным, техника тут мягко говоря ни о чём от слова совсем, без обид . Уйму ненужных кроссфейдов, слишком всё обрывисто и неплавно, синхра странная, особенно со снятием шляпы, про качество картинки вообще молчу. Ладно ещё плохие 1080 как у меня, и то выходит это вынужденно, а не ибо мне самому не важно какое будет качество картинки

(honestly that will still put this video over the final goal to finally get over to finally have a single video over the dreaded (2 . something) for this specific website since even though I have a few over at news above that ,not really any here) I loved your video and I am happy to hear your comments. (edit-I try to smooth the load of this comment over but since I spent probably 3 hours before finding out that this person was not Markywa (Who complained on Interchanger and I thought he brought his attitude onto my video, even though that video was more about frame rates) some of that stayed because I only spent maybe 10 minutes after. (I get a few comments a year, so I take each one seriously) but I actually respect this person a lot more than this again I thought I was talking to this other person. there are a few names I know by memory but not these two. (mostly the people I see for two or three years repetitively or people from my first 3-4 years) (edit- I finally have the actual results and it has hit the above 3 at least as of 3 August, I made these comments back when they were still not published yet but I am happy that finally I earned a good rating)
I am heavily truncated this. (glowing around the twist on amv news has a better explanation of this time in the comments, since I was talking about it 3 years later and the site does not let you change the notes) I got into a situation once in which I tried high-quality footage and it got to the point that my computer completely ran out of space. sadly I lost a lot of that in a wipe but I never wanna be in that position again I try to avoid choosing bigger aspect ratios just because it's there.
when I check the difference between 360p and 480p, ok size difference. (The difference was enough in terms of the noticeable increase of quality) I tried for 480p to 720p, still worth the difference but when I saw the difference for 720p to 1080p. one opening is in the 10s, possibly to 20s if big (particularly these days) and the other was in the 40s. (I think mid 30s specifically for that video. I am remembering something from probably half a decade ago, I think this was for the video using the song 'shake it for me') adding the fact the difference visually between 720p and 1080p was pretty minimal but it was almost twice the size. I decided after that point to pretty much avoid what at the time seems like a really big jump given I did not notice a difference.
AMV news mention stuff about 360p and 480p and I have carefully considered that existing rule and literally have lost sleep over it. before your post here I just never considered that maybe because I been editing for 9 years and I let time pass by without double checking the changing of standards. I am actually I am at a shoestring budget, definitely with disk space (until really recently ,the footage was obtained with the previous computer in mind but I just got a new computer and this should be the last video using my older computer) so even though I try to keep it to the standards mentioned in big con and here. The last time I really checked other standards was for a few contests I checked back in 2018 and 2019, but never got around to doing. and in the end it was always 720p or '480p if only available.' (edit-in terms of the budget thing. I am on a tight budget. this is technically not a 'listed profession' (even though I am not ashamed of this) and unlike some of you (based on some of the listings for occupation) I do not do animation as a job, so I have consumer equipment instead of a rig. this means I do not have 4 TB available but since I miraculously found a older model computer but with a lot of space (not quite 4 TB (I chose one of the biggest models for my example to get the point across) but pretty great anyway) I hope I can use their advice now and maybe get my videos to a higher quality. (also I did use one video that was for some reason put a 16.9 in the middle of a 4.3 so that is probably the thing that brought the quality down and I did not notice that until literal postproduction screenshot in which I had to recrop some that had one edge showing. if it was not already published in time I probably would have knocked around to replace it and is what happens when you only realise video video has potential after making it.)
I hope the best, and again thank you for giving me this information but I am fine with you talking about my video, I will make sure to keep your useful advice in mind. I do a lot of times focus on giving videos with high frame rates. (particularly so the transitions shine very smoothly) even though I do have some average frame rate videos I felt focusing on that frame rate lead to a better experience, so that is usually where I focus. this was the second video for the contest keep in mind, if I found in remember this video sooner I probably would have done slightly more work on it (even though I was trying to avoid messing up something mostly complete) but I am very proud of the work I did and I am very happy that the majority of these comments are very positive.
(edit- I know this person talked about other stuff but the rest were standard stuff to keep in mind. I just felt like this I had a lot to say about since it has been a subject I had thought over multiple times in the 9 years I have been editing. it is also something that has not really been publicly addressed that much over the different contests on here, given most of the articles on amv news were not changed in my entire time competing on these sites, which was around 2019. I take people comments seriously because I know people on here are really good editors all in their own right, so any advice has will have something I can get from it. along with the fact that they took time to watch and think about my video which is also something I do not take for granted.)

Ну эт потому что у вас тут свои сложились традиции и критерии, что хорошо, а что лимонад. Но если вариться в одном и том же бензине десятилетиями, то скучновато станет, надо иногда чё-нить и разнообразить жеж

Да какой же супер!?  Из хорошего в клипе -- только сами звеерушки (они как котики, только лучше), ну и песенка ничё так. Остальное -- чрезвывычайно слабо: кривой хромакей, кислотные подрисовки пэинт-стайл, притыренный у 7НэшнАрми фифект, да и кадры не особо блещут разнообразием, хотя попытки видны.

here's the thing, this video it's not even worth researching a song for a translation. (when I eventually did it I found nothing) it almost indicated that you made this song yourself. which if you did focus on that because you did good but given half the songs I listen to with my dad probably have no online existence so I know it's not the exact certainty. but without lyrics unless I was going to try to transcribe the whole thing based on sound. (I learn Ukrainian but I was bad at it, so I know the Cyrillic alphabet even though there are differences between the two language versions of it) I cannot translating it. I honestly am never going to deduct points on that because I understand that it's me and that I am pretty much the only English speaker in this contest at this point. but I know they were too many different words for them all to mean 'hamster eating celery.'
this is the first video of actually just decided not to watch past the first few seconds and I for the sake of integrity usually would never do that. I did go back to look over the video but you literally put a bunch of guinea pigs eating on top of a triangle and did that 10 times. like I said on the other comment I don't really have much to rate it on. The other guinea pig one at least as an idea and I have seen a lot of new creation concepts within the last 3 to 4 years , particularly for the 'depression video segment.' which I still try to view it decently to be clear because I just knew it was not my preference, unlike this. but that does not excuse making a video with just a hamster eating celery on top of it triangle overlay. I feel like it's safe to say that this will most likely be the worst video I have ever seen and it's not getting usurped.
for lack of a better word is this is really bad. I will go as far as to say there is very little substance in this video. and saying substance in video is a borderline term in terms of this. there is only a video in terms of a definition of moving pictures but not in the definition of an AMV/vid. by the end of moving some of the hamsters around at least showed the ability to do something but when the video is ridiculous as this really anything as an improvement. my mum mention that apparently there was a book series about hamster is taking over the world when I told her about this video after I made the majority of this post. said even that doesn't really make this much better even if it explains your previous video.
I did vote for you for best credits now I did enjoy the credits and I am so happy you actually did complete credits which in my day you can't even put a video in a contest without having everything listed in the credits.

Every once in a while someone does something that revolutionize everything and that's what this was. you put the action film and focussed on the personal experience of the gruesome dying that is war, the exact moment as you are dying. you delve so deep in to that it was genius. this is one of those videos are you think how does it take this long to think it up. amazing.

this is so perfect. you feel the anticipations building up , you just feel it. The only issue is that the story got a little loose and do not have a resolution completely at the end. that is not to say I do not like the syncing in the fighting scenes, because you did a perfect job technically. but it would have been nice have a nice resolution. amazing job.

since there is a good chance this person might win I want to make this clear, since the comments do not reflect that result. there is no way you can know this just looking at the site but her only compositor for best original source with someone that put guinea pigs on top of a triangle. and as much as there is no way on a regular competitive assortment just would ever win. you at least have a concept beyond putting guinea pigs on what looks like the saved from the bell opening. but sometimes luck come some coincidence so congratulations.

I've expected more psychedelic video from you. But it looks more like an all in the day's work trailer. Maybe it's a bit rough and not polished enough, but it looks nice in general.
At 1:12-1:13 you've crookedly cut a segment - the show titles appear during ~0.3-0.5 sec. You should cut them off completely or show longer. It's OK if the show titles were shown I guess cause the MV looks like a trailer. But it should be longer in that case.
P.S.: You've put AMVNews URL on the preview. Why? It's a video for CreaSpace.
first I have to think the nice people here at creative space for fixing that error. but now let's explain what happened because that was a really weird fluke.no wonder they put my video last. I have been looking through the credits to see where I put that by mistake and I see it's on the poster. (I want to say I wrote part of this earlier but never got around to posting with my busy schedule, but I finally came across time to posted this)
I made a new credit document last contests. (before I copied the credits from the nearest amv I come across one scrolling on my computer, which was either some of them from the early 2020s or 2018) it was starting to become more and more ridiculous since I shoved a bunch of videos in one of the documents which made it difficult to remember the chronological order and because every single contest was not in one place. so I was still getting used to that. (I think I put the order of the websites opposite when I was making the document or forgot it altogether though it's added now)
also between the additions I had to do the screenshots at least 3 times so that also wore me out slightly and The website had a weird bug when I was removing the one at a time and posting the new version each at a time.(because of the sheer amount , that's what wore me out) all of the screenshots as I was trying to reput them in order so somehow 18 screenshots with what it seems appealing for times happened and I had to do a lot of fixing for that. which was more of a final blow than anything else.but I didn't enjoy making this poster. and maybe it was just I was absorbed into angling the word. so I must have copied and pasted the wrong website. in my excitement for choosing this for the poster. though the other two reasons probably factor into how I did not see it and escaped my mind.
sadly when I did the credits, I had the amv news logo and the monitors luckily pointed out that nothing was technically wrong but you put it in by mistake I was able to remove it the final day. I just added a lot of things really fast. again I am thankful for The people on the side correcting that mistake.

needs a better song. Great idea, and great simulation. just needed also more in between stuff. One or two simple video clips or transitions. (you could probably get away with tv station transitions, either the graphic stuff between logos or sign offs which I found to be a really great source of mood stuff) maybe a random scene from this show could work. most importantly when you are doing a video that relies heavily on mood with very limited special effects beyond simulated rooms. (which could work under different circumstances)I love that you tried to honour a place with your video so I am trying to make it clear that was not the problem that you tried to simulate real places but a background needs a situation or at least a mood (for the nothing left atmosphere) to make it a story. you really got to get that song perfectly because you have to win people with the song and you chose a song that require you to have to win people with a good amount of video to move with it.

I know this is older but there are a lack of wrestling one so I wanted to comment. I felt like you should have put more of the emotional talking scenes instead of just focusing on the fight scenes. I think that would have made a healthy balance. (particularly when he broke away from his mentor) there is also obviously you and point in which I have a feeling the available footage started to run out where we have three battles. there were some footage saving manoeuvres at the end as the cuts got way longer. but I think you did a good job, the actions sometimes better and then collapse which in the few spots suffered some bits with the timing this one was very good with timing. he also did a really good character profile focussing on Randy really well. too bad we never got more but at least we have something.

Наконец полноценный видос который тянет на топ 3.
Видно с каким количеством материала пришлось поработать чтобы все органично выглядело. Хоть тема определена как "Игры", но тут полно так же синематиков, геймплей видосов, трейлеров, промо и тд и все они монтируются очень по разному начиная от технических условий и до самого монтажа (даже по самому видосу это видно где иногда фреймы скачат от 60 до 24 из-за разных источников). Мне понравилось, что все это воссоединилось вот в такой вот трибьют показывая масштаб игровой индустрии, ее эволюцию и развитие. По монтажу без вопросов, все довольно синхронно и под биточек, ритмично.
Что этому ролику не хватает? Как по мне да, куски с полосами хотелось бы чего-то, например показать расширение от 4x3 на 16x9, это так же бы подчеркнуло переход на более широкий формат игрового опыта. И как еще снизу отметили что у некоторых футажей качество хромает от чего синхронность в определенных моментах начинает выглядеть не так гладко.
От себя добавлю что хотелось бы такой ролик видеть именно в 60 фпс, а тут пока вариативный фреймрейт. Я понимаю, что не все можно найти в 60фпс, но постоянный переход от 24 к 60 то что убивает монтаж в этом видосе из-за одной не очень красивой штучки (интерлейс). Тут надо было определиться либо 24 либо 60. Если недостаточно материала для 60фпс то убираешь все что ниже этого порога, если много 24 то проект следовало бы сделать такой же. А еще как по мне показалось немножечко затянуто. Необязательно делать видос по всей длине трека. Три с половиной или четыре минуты (плюс минус 20-30 сек) вполне бы хватило.
В целом это отличная работа, будь я продюсером Е3 (если он когда нибудь вернется) не было бы стыдно показать этот видос на огромном экране на чьей-то игровой презентации. От меня 4.

I did not notice this heavy frame change and I think it's good to get the best quality that you can get even if the creator cannot find everything in 60 frames. granted to keep in mind this is coming from someone who heavily does the mix of the aspect ratio stuff but at the very least it would have probably had to been 'sacrificed' for the live action non-video game stuff. at the very least imagining limiting the video completely to 24 frames seems like a really low number to limited just because some 80s games have lower frame rates, 30 maybe if you want to go that way, I find 50 sometimes being a good in between (granted part of that is for rendering speed) but 24 no.

I like this musician and I have considered using this position for some of my own works but I just have not gone in around to finishing any of them since I found this musician around 6 months ago. granted I have never heard this song from the musician so I was definitely curious to see how this goes.
first of all thank you for explaining what is going on in the background. it really helped, definitely for a English speaker like me. (for the music I had the English translation right next to me but it helped definitely for the dialogue portions)
that mask scene really cemented the lyric perfectly right before the chorus and it just kept going from there. it began good (even before the mask, that was just when did the best scene I was already wondering how it would be done when searching up the translation) and it just kept being good. your message between childhood tails and grown-up reality was shown really well.
I had trouble understanding the final verse and why we ended up in underworld with the characters of underworld. honestly a part of me wonders if it was a last minute edit to fill up a quick portion of time that there was not enough for. (I have guiltily done that once or twice, usually last day) I can think of a few possible things the best being maybe it was supposed to be the grown-up type of shows moving away from the kid style but again my own guesses and too much of one for me to use in in the ratings) but maybe you ran of source material and you just need him to be saved or something.(I do recognize you were using movies instead of TV shows and from my own experience you usually run out of footage very quickly when using movies. overall I am rating it very high still because I really enjoyed it.

this one at least is better done than the last one. granted the last one had a really low standard. even though I am aware I am a editor that has lower rating, at least in relation to how long I have been doing this , I think people would have thought this weird in 2006 beyond the machination crowd. and I mean a very specific machination crowd, mostly Sims. (I did read some of this before I saw the second half for the video at around the 1 minute mark or in likely would have been smoother, but I think the spirit is still the same) at least it got better after the 1 1/2 minute point. you finally got your rhythm at that point.I actually like the idea that you came up with using the video game for putting room scenes. that is actually genius. but you need to get some other sources for the characters if you want to go far. you did a good job for her doing the dance and this time the walking scene was more fluid. I also have to say the way you made the transparent double Lauras was perfect to add to the 'thriller' feel.
you definitely needed to do a crossphase or tradition zoom in for some of the zoom in face scenes (which were too blunt and choppy, specifically for that type of shot) on the first dance sequence. (granted there is a portion of me that wonders if when you made this video you knew of the existence of the crossphase setting, being self taught in the beginning I do you know you figure out that type of stuff when you press the button somewhere you either did not realise or was curious when you read the label) in theory if you were good enough you could use the video game character engine but you would have to be skilled enough to hide all of the lag either with putting it faster, hiding flaws, cutting ,trying to make it stylistic. like I said you have potential if you do it right but just keep mine this is not a machination audience. but I do you think your style can fit to make sure the characters are moving without us having to think. because of how far are you went between the last two videos I gave you a 3.

The use of the abbreviation is not the problem on its own. The problem is the abbreviation is in the middle of a sentence (with most of the sentence not being the game's name) I understand trying to print little clarification and have done that myself a few times but best to put that on the side. (I personally use parentheses but I am sure there are other ways) or at the very least have it instead 'На основе 'тр' игры.' to indicate separation.
