Woah, amazing story! Style is a bit old, but so is the video. But I understood the story and loved it!

I just watched the movie.Evaluating the clip, I will note the virtuoso possession of a sword and other types of cold weapons,
as they say, cold reason and the accuracy of the blade is inimitable to the enemy.I liked it, I love it.Good luck!
Hey, thanks a whole bunch! Had a lot of fun editing this amazing movie. Glad you enjoyed after watching it too. The sword fighting just rolls off the tongue of this song.

Really loved the energy in this video, and most of all the fact that the kpop group scenes really entertained the idea that the song was sung by the characters or was at least a rendition of the song's official music video, hah!
Could've done with less crossfades, but still, this was very fun and energetic and the style was kept all throughout, not too mention 1:42 was pretty clever! This vid surely reminds us that there's so much LoL CGI content to edit that we'll be kept entertained for years to come
PS: I am not quite getting the title, ever since you released it but couldn't wrap my head around it. Any clues? : p

Although I wish the beginning was in a way, a bit more coordinated, in that the sound effects came in a bit too early for example, this was one hell of a Battlefield cut my man, the likes that me as a casual fan would have never expected to empathize so much with.
Starting from the gradual display of the modern tools of war and spanning to the heartfelt moments with the players joining the lobby and everything that makes this game what it is for us, the people who play it, this has been really, really fun to watch! The internal sync and scene selection were just as I had expected from you, especially the scenes at 1:55 when it all actually echoed with the way we were probably feeling as viewers trying to take in all this epicness
In some portions around the beginning I wished the sync and scene coordination from say, modern scenes above a city and then desert scenes was a bit better, but all in all, I found this a very strong video as always and a proper tribute to this game series in the wake of 2042's release!
If anything, I once again commend you for putting in the effort of gracing us with a participation every time, keeping yourself both fresh and constantly improving your already long history of great work!

This video was such a fresh return in time when this kind of electronic music and editing was just the jam!
But even though that means that it's just a bit behind the current times, I understood its direction and style and absorbed it all as such, finally leading me to being able to really enjoy it, especially the slow, ethereal scenes with the whale and red riding hood chase in the forest. The ending felt a bit anticlimactic compared with the rest of the video (I happen to know that very commercial), but it somehow worked so well not only sync and style-wise but also in respect to your motif of "dreams" throughout this all. I'm happy you decided to bring out such works to light for the traditional contest here so I can but wish you luck!
A montage of commercial bits was definitely a fresh dish of sources we all needed to experience again.

This kind of montages are my most favourite, as they take a general idea and stretch it among various interpretations, mixing genres and styles while retaining the same core, the same central idea, which in this case seemed to be following the lust for battle throughout the history of mankind.
I have thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the slow parts with the ships towards the start, though it all kinda fell apart for me around 1:56 with those transitions and the cut to the horse riding. Also the ending felt a bit less rewarding than the last video, though of course, there is no real end to war other than air strikes and a global nuke, so it's excusable to some degree
So best of luck bud, and I also wanna commend you for surviving this crazy song hahahah, also what got me hooked into this vid was the part with the tribal warriors just before the transition to the ships on the sea. I wish there was more of that feeling that was continued for a bit there.

Not the biggest fan of the strong zoom and pan transitions you used, but I've gotta give it to you for the consistency of this montage colour-wise and scene selection-wise. It was, by all means, a crazy montage of devilish beings having their way with each other. And at that, it did not fail. Good luck!
1:24 reminded me of Dante from Dante's Inferno somehow and it really tied in well with you using him later on(if it isn't actually him)
Also the stuff at 2:27, although not that clean, was among my fav buildups, just before the final drop there.

You'd think we'd have already experienced a huge burnout from all the futuristic cyberpunk-y stuff that has been suffocating pop culture lately, and maybe we have... but heck, you've done such a terrific job at making this feel classic and nostalgic yet so fresh at the same time! In a "neo-retro" way if I can put it that way Maybe cuz of the song too.
I kinda lost my way along the video at some points because I thought there was a certain plot I had to follow, but what stuck with me was this whole idea of actually desiring to lose control over everything and cranking up hedonistic tendencies to the max in a futuristic society dominated by political and social control such as this.
All in all, my view on it is that you again did not disappoint and I am happy to have seen this in the finals, as it was a clean cut alongside the lights & shadows of what living in such a world could be, all captured in a traditionally sensibly built VIDOK-style montage. Good job and good luck! I especially enjoyed the slowmo scenes and the madness towards the end.

Hey, I was one of those who voted for you! I found it very stylish too, especially the lightsaber waving sync and the ominous atmosphere in the buildups. Maybe what pushed it down was stuff that was too reminiscent of your... AMV-editing style perhaps, ironically? Like the black feather transition or idk... regardless, I wish it was up there! A big plus one from me and keep it up!
Awww, you make me blush, whatever about this situation but im really glad you like my work, thanks a lot man and good luck to you in final !
Thank you! Let's keep rocking my man 🤘

Ничего не понял, но ОЧЕНЬ интересно. История, ну примерно понятна(наверное). Минус лично для меня уж слишком много лиц. Титры классные. Не буду жадничать и просто поставлю 5.
Hey, I feared that would happen, but much appreciated! It was tough to remove characters from this, each one played their role.
I have also added a video showcasing my efforts to make everything blend in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UK3zygO9pY8 if it helps clear out the attempt further.

Титры офигенные, но сам клип не зацепил к сожалению. История слишком замороченная. Титры вначале немного вносят ясности, но не до конца. Мне показалось безумное число действующих персонажей и нет явного центрального.
Thanks a lot for the input, I too think it is a bit too much to take in, but I hope that in repeated viewings and in an attempt to see the parallels between faces, the story will be able to be extracted more easily. I have also posted a video comparison of my efforts to make this all look like one universe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UK3zygO9pY8

Very beautiful and harmonic video remembered me "Tree Of Life" from Terrence Malick. Nice to see author has his own vision.
I agree! I was never able to finish that movie Though recently seeing a vid with it on here reminded me that it also had a Sean Penn storyline in it and now I wanna go back, especially after seeing this vid too and your comment about it.

Capturing my truest and fiercest reaction before all the other videos for yet a fourth time in a row! Drew us in slowly but when we were finally ready to expect the unveiling of the universe itself, as per your and the source's vision, it was already too late. We had already been sucked in the beautiful nebula that is your craft displayed here.
Wonderful payoff to a gentle buildup. Simply beautiful.

I know, everyone has said that, but I also had trouble understanding the story (even with description), as it is *a bit* complex, but I appreciated the idea of the parallelism of the same actors and your dedication to create some alternative story from different sources in FMV (I think it is nearly impossible to do this with FMV). Also, credits in the end are very nice. GJ
Hah, thanks a lot my man, it is indeed quite tough to get I assume, especially for someone unfamiliar with these Asian faces; thanks for the appreciation though, and I hope there's gonna be a Category rating this year so I can enlist my end credits in there

Комплексная работа. Автор прогрессирует, что радует.
Надеюсь, что DramaCon никогда не будет, иначе победитель слишком очевиден.
Yooo, thanks a lot What do you mean by DramaCon though? A con especially for Asian Drama edits? Or something just for stories like this or what? Either way, if you claimed I had chances of winning, then I feel very flattered hearing that, thank you!

Pretty interesting combination! What color correction techniques did you use to give the scenes this increased contrast and bloom at times?

To me this song felt just right for the Matrix universe, and your style fit this combination well also. It's just the ending that felt a bit underwhelming. Solid overall!

Wow, that was hell of a trip!
High quality work. Really impressive editing skills, interesting mv, nice sync and using effects, rare but well placed using sound effects. I can't say that I've managed to track the plot, I consider this work as a simple frames cut, yet it's not a disadvantage.
Really enjoyed the clip, despite I'm not a big fan of such movies. Good luck here, and I'd love to see more author's clips here)
Dunno how I've managed to miss your comment, but thank you very much!

Alright, points taken! You make very good observations, as I should have had more impact in the ending perhaps, indeed. Thanks a lot though, glad you were able to enjoy this! (am a big fan of your work here too )

"I feel a little strange sharing a childhood story considering I was never a child."
With this, I was transported straight back to how I felt watching 2049 in the theaters for the very first time. An experience much akin to this mirrored perspective you presented us here: simply seen, a daring montage with a length for such an MV that's comparable to that of these movies and their extended versions, which on their own scale and in their own right, put off most of its audience through this.
Once proclaimed as a cool catchphrase during the uprising of Marvel's last-gen phase, I remember the words saying that "heroes are not born, they are made". Just like many dystopian operas with ambiguous morals, Blade Runner does not seem to feature a hero, despite our need to empathize with a better version of ourselves on-screen, with something to cling on. I see it more as some sort of embodiment of this search towards the essence that makes us human, a coming-of-age story on a gargantuan scale, exploring concepts way beyond current understanding of science, I'd say. Which is why this synthesized music and feeling of losing materialism while aiming to the stars fits so well.
Now, as for the experience of watching this itself, I prepared myself to sit through all of it and I've gotta say... I downright loved this. Starting from the apparently distracting quotes you added in the intro, to the systematic, wormhole-like transition from one character to another as the vibrating notes of the song took us through the vibrant colours of the future (which though... in the old BR's case, it's now actually our past :p), it all felt like a carefully arranged cocktail of emotion through an otherwise emotionless and consumerist, materialistic world.
I specifically enjoyed the eerie segue at 7:35 to a symphonic culmination of the inputs you've laid out for us here: the humanity dillemma, the promise of a brighter future held in a dust-covered metallic hand, the illusion of what we call real, everything laid out perfectly within the restrictions of the same primal instincts that drove humanity all throughout history - the appetite for domination. At least that's what I took out from all this.
I also enjoyed the snippets of dialogue, you have masterfully chosen them, making me turn right back after every pause in which I wanted to finish the video a bit later. So props for that, bud. I really hope this extensive amount of work you put here is going to pay off in a satisfactory ranking for you, good luck!
