According to the Air Canada 24 hour Cancellation Policy, any flights cancelled within 24 hours of booking are subject to the risk-free period. The full return is guaranteed and such cancellations are free. Every form of fare is covered by this policy. However, there must be a minimum of seven days between making a reservation and taking off.
