This is pretty good stuff. I like the vibe, the music, some cuts and transitions are not only seamless, but visually elegant.
The only things that makes this video look less interesting is these zooms in and out like on 1:50. It is a relic of a short form video format used for TikToks, Youtube short, etc and being done usually by presets just for fun does not fit (personally saying) for this type of video. I like Mathew's voice in the beginning, but something happened next with old man's voice. Specifically sound layering, we can hear only left channel. Another miss moment is 2:25 where he sniffs some coco. We understand the idea but technically it's done really raw. Visuals are fine but stuttering sound that flows into fade out then fade in sounds kinda weird. I can agree with Filin at this point. Cuts and transitions are cool but many of them not being polished enough, technically saying. Overall it is a decent work that requires a bit more polishing and experience in editing to avoid slow spots.

I didn't watch True Detective, but some scenes are known from memes.  Atmosphere of the mv is felt almost like in the Dark show. Good work! |
